How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
In deep, jewel-like purple, eventually to become a shrug:
In shiny lavender mohair, to keep my coffee warm:
In shades of wheat and pumpkin, a stole in the making:
And, finally, in gorgeous fiber that accompanied my new (used) spindle.
O color, how do I love thee? A whole heck of a lot.
Make certain to check back with Andrea's blog to see what everyone else is waxing poetic about on this Fiber Arts Friday.
Beautiful colors...you really inspire me to crochet. I have my instruction book and a hook, now to find some patience (that I didn't have 25 years ago) so that I can learn.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors in your yarn palette... I can't even see a favorite, I love them all!
ReplyDeleteLove!
ReplyDeleteI love the beautiful colors when it's cold and dreary. The purple in the first picture is very enticing. I look forward to seeing the finished product!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your spinning progress! I love using spindles!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a delicious looking bag of fiber with the spindle!
ReplyDeleteDenise--You amaze me with every post! I can't wait to see the purple project finished, and I'm also anxious to see the hand-spun yarn from that luscious pile of roving!!
ReplyDeleteOh--P.S. I bought some 'not sweet' hard cider recently on your recommendation...haven't tried it yet, though. :)
Great photos. I do love that French press cozy. The wheat and pumpkin makes me speechless, it's so subtle and feminine.
ReplyDeleteThe purple in the shrug photo - gorgeous! I think I may be drooling on my keyboard. Oops!
