I remember going to work and my co-workers all abuzz about what was going on in NYC. The news kept showing the smoking, Twin Towers. A TV on its stand had been wheeled into the office. We were just shocked at what had happened and couldn't believe it. It was really a really weird daze we were in. My heart saddens at the thought of the terror people must have felt in the buildings and on the planes and the loss their ohanas feel. I'm in awe at how the first responders jumped in w/no hesitation and at how people on board fought to take down the terrorists on the planes even though they knew their possible fates. It pisses me off that such evil people want to hurt innocents in our country. Yeah, our country's not perfect but why don't you do something about yours if you're so unhappy there? I am grateful for the women and men who are loyal to the USA, who fight to keep us safe in any way. Bless America.
